Helping Hands

Hi friends...

My daughter, Alexa, has been participating in labre at her school. Labre is where a group of students prepare or buy food for the hungry & homeless in the Toledo, OH area. After a brief prayer service, the group travels to a few locations where they distribute the food and interact with those members in need.

While participating this year, Alexa came across people who had basic needs that were not met. She said people had asked her if she had coats, feminine products, etc. She did not have those things & it isnt offered right now in labre to distribute those, so she is collecting these things to distribute herself this season. 

Its hard to imagine not having the necessary items you need to stay warm & stay clean especially during the winter. Such simple products or items we have handy in our closet at home, don't come as easy to others in need. 

My daughter has chosen to donate these items to Susies Coats for Kids, Toledo Gospel Rescue Mission, the Salvation Army & St. Pauls Community Center. We will take our donations to in on the weekend of December 18th.
